Blog for Money
So, now that my blog has some content on it, my traffic is starting to increase a bit. I have noticed a steady increase on the money I am earning from advertisements on my blog and also in the number of referrals I have to all of my programs.
By creating a blog, you can earn a substantial amount of money from advertising revenue. The advertisers that I have made the most money with is Bidvertiser. With Bidvertiser, you can make a lot of money from your Website or Blog. With only 12 clicks on my ads, I have earned $6.74! This is great because you can request payment once you earn more than $10. So if you have a website or blog, I highly recommend using Bidvertiser to make some money from it. There are also some other great programs out there like Adbrite and Yahoo Publisher Network, but I recommend staying away from Google Adsense. They are ridiculously strict and have banned thousands of people for "invalid clicks" without further investigating the case. When you are banned you lose all the earnings you made to that point and are never allowed back. I hate Google.
Another reason to create a blog is to get referrals for programs that you participate in. I have gotten hundreds of referrals from my blog and it has only been a month since I started. You don't even have to have a very active blog, as long as what you do post is good content. There are many websites out there that are very good at guiding you to create a succesful blog. My friend Daryl's site is one of my favorites. You can start a great blog for free with blogger. I'd suggest getting a domain name though, because it just makes your blog unique and easier to remember.
